Beatrice, NE - On a beautiful evening in Beatrice, every Jet athlete brought home at least one ribbon. Wow, what an accomplishment for a first year club. The Jets had a number of super performances and many P/R's and club records were broken.
Robbie Morrison lead the team with a first place in the 100 meter dash, timed at 12.06 followed by a first place in the 200 meter dash timed in 25.75. The third ribbon was a second place in the long jump. Alex Scheideler finished first place in the bantam boys javelin throwing 68 feet, 7 inches. Will Scheideler finished with three ribbons with a first place in the long jump. Will jumped 13'11 inches, a club and personal best. Will also finished second in the midget boys javelin throw with a toss of 107 feet 6 inches. Will's final event was the 800 where he finished third with an outstanding record time of 2:43.00. Lindsay Key was outstanding in the bantam girls 400, taking 10 seconds off her current best and finishing in first place with a time of 1:19.00. Lindsay also placed third in the long jump with a jump of 9 feet 6.50 inches. She also ran on the second place 4x100 meter relay team consisting of Rachel Gran, Lisa Gran and Jenna Raef.
Nicole Gingery finished second in the 100 meter dash in a PR time of 14.75. She was third in the long jump and third in the 200. Dillon Forst was second in the boys high jump with a jump of 5'6". Dillon also finished third in the intermediate boys 200. Lacey Pickering finished second in the girls 400 in a time of 1:19.00 and finished 4th in the 100 and sixth in the long jump. Jay Kilpatrick finished third in the midget boys high jump with a tremedous jump of 4'0. Jay also finished third in the boys 400 with a PR time of 1:19.31. Craig Murman had a full day finishing third in the boys youth high jump with a jump of 4'4", a fourth place finish in the 400 and a 6th place finish in the 100. Jackson MacLean finished third in the bantam boys 100 and fourth in the long jump. Jeff Morrison was third in the midget boys 100 and 4th in the long jump with a new PR of 11'8". Lisa Gran was third in the bantam girls 200 witha PR of 40.59. Elizabeth Zito was third in the 400, fifth in the 100 and sixth in the girls midget 200. Jenna Raef was fourth in the bantam girls long jump. Nate Key finished fourth in the boys 800 and was a member of the midget 4x100 team that finished third. Members of the team were Jeff Morrison, Nate, David Peaslee and Jay Kilpatrick. Kelly Danahy was fourth in Youth boys high jump, and fifth in both the 400 and the 100. Jonathan Rife was fifth in the midget boys 800. Clayton Hullet was fifth in midget boys 400 and fifth in the long jump. Madison MacLean was 6th in girls 100 and 7th in girls long jump. Kyle Gran was fifth in the midget boys 200.
Crete, NE - Gabby, Bailey and Kelsie Roth were all impressive at Crete, Nebraska. Each of the Roth athletes brought home a ribbon for their efforst.
