Will Scheideler, Chris Hatch, Elizabeth Wild and Jenna Raef Compete at 2002 National Junior Olympics Meet
Jenna Raef Bantam Girls Jenna qualified for Nationals by winning the State Junior Olympic Meet at Omaha with leap of 3'9". At the national meet held in Omaha Jenna placed tied for 23rd with a leap of 3'8". Chris Hatch Intermediate Boys Chris qualified for both the 1500 and the 800. His qualifying times were 2:03.65 and 4:16.65. Chris finished 14th in the 1500 at Nationals with a time of 4:18.37. He also finished 14th in the 800 with a time of 2:05.09. Elizabeth Wild Young Women Elizabeth qualified at the State meet with a leap of 5'02". That leap was 3" over her P/R. At the National Junior Olympic Meet in Omaha Elizabeth finished 25th with a leap of 5'01". She clicked 5'03" with a heal. Will Scheideler Midget Boys Will qualified for nationals by placing second with a toss of 120'01" at state. At Nationals Will had to deal with some mud and tossed the javelin 105'1" to finish 18th. Will did break the State Record this season with a toss of 130'03" |
