Beatrice, NE - Last season the Beatrice J.O. Qualifying track meet was a defining moment for the Lincoln Jets. So, the Jets went back to Beatrice to find that the meet had been donated medals. The Jets managed to take home 60 medals and 20 ribbons with 36 kids competing. Six new club records were established along with 18 top 5 marks. An investigation is currently underway with Coach Morrison trying to find out what the Gran families ate the night of the meet. Rachael and Lisa Gran both broke 3 P/R's each while Lisa reduced her 400 time by 10 seconds. Kyle also came in 9 seconds lower in his 400 time. Nathan Gran increased his P/R in the long jump by over a foot. Allison Key paid attention and increased her long jump by over a foot. Gabby Roth also broke three P/R's. A total of 29 P/R's, 8 tied and 5 new P/R;s were established that beautiful evening in Beatrice. Christian Sanderfer and R.J. Richardson claimed 3 gold medals apiece in each of their events.
