Seven Gold Medals for the Jets at Bellevue

C.Hatch, T. Osborn, K. Roth, K.Boes, C.Sanders find gold in those bluffs

Bellevue, NE - The Jets were paced at the Bellevue Breeze Track meet last Saturday by gold medal performances by Kimberly Boes, Chris Hatch, Tyson Osborn, Kelsey Roth and Cicely Sanders. Kimberly was a a gold medalist in the young women's 100 and 200 with P/R's of 13.5 and 29.4. Kim also had a third place P/R in her specialty the 100 meter hurdles timed in 17.8. Chris Hatch won both the young mens 1500 and 800. Chris's times were 2:07.3 and 4:22.1. Tyson Osborn came up big the the bantam boys long jump. Tyson improved his P/R by close to 2 feet and won the event with a leap of 12'0". Tyson also finished fourth in the 100 and the 400. Kelsey Roth and Avrie Welton continued their dual in the bantam girls high jump. Kelsey won the event at 3'10 and Avrie finished 2nd at 3'8": Kelsey also finished 5th and established a club record in the 1500 with a time of 6:52.0 Cicely Sanders continued her winning ways in the long jump with a leap of 11'01". Overall, the Jets broke 15 P/R's and several club records. Bailey Roth finished 2nd in the bantam boys 1500 with a club record 6:23.1 and Zachary Edwards was third. Paige Richardson, back from injury, finished 2nd the long jump and 3rd in the high jump. Heather Boes finished 3rd in the 100 and 200. Jenna Raef was third in the high jump and Anne Flesher was third in the javelin. Fourth through sixth place finishes went to Oliva Morris, Alex Boes, Heather Boes, Taylyn Watson, Avrie Welton, Bantam girls 4x100 and bantam girls 4x400.
