Will Scheideler, Jeff Morrison, Christian Sanderfer, Kelsey Roth

Crete, NE. - Will Scheideler competing at Doane College last Saturday in the youth boys pentathlon. Will advanced to Minnesota bringing home the bronze medal in the event. Will had a time of 18.0 in the 100 hurdles; 25'9.25" in the shot put; 4'9" high jump; 15'10.5" long jump; and 5:25.14 1500. Will's total points were 1986.

On Sunday, Christian Sanderfer ran a blistering 1:08.8 400 to come from behind and win the bantam triathlon. Christian threw the shot put 16'05" and high jumped 3'7.25". His total points were 482. Kelsey Roth finished second in the bantam girls triathlon. Kelsey totaled 551 points wil high jumping 3'9.25"; 200 in 36.4; and throwing the shot put 13'09.75". The fourth qualifier for regionals was Jeff Morrison. Jeff finished 4th in the midget boys pentathlon with a score of 1378 points. Jeff ran the 80 hurdles in 16.0; shot put 20'1.75"; high jump 3'11.25; long jumped 13'7.75"; 1500 in 6:13.8 seconds. Bailey Roth also competed in the multi-events and finished 8th. He throw the shot put 11'7.5"; P/R 400 at 1:24.8; high jumped 2'9.5".
