Beatrice , Nebraska - Thirty-Eight Jets invaded Beatrice and looked like a hungry track team. The Jets had been working very hard for two weeks without a track meet and came out running, jumping and throwing. The Jets won 30 out of 45 events for a total of 45 gold medals. The Jets also had 25 silver medals, 11 bronze medals, 7 fourth place ribbons, 8 5th place ribbons and 3 6th place ribbons. Every Jet that competed qualified for the state association meet in the events they competed. The performance was so good that the Jets broke 27 personal records and established 18 more.
