Jets Survive the Weather

Bellevue, Nebraska - Ten Lincoln Jets battled the weather to compete at the Bellevue Breeze Invitational meet. Christian Sanderfer recorded gold in the high jump and 400 Meter Dash. McKenna Slack also brought home two gold medals in the 100 meter hurdles and the high jump. Josh Droud won the 80 meter hurdles and Tyson Osborn was victorious in the 1500. The Jets brought home twelve medals. Grace Barry pickued up a silver medal in the javelin and brother Andrew recorded a silver medal in the javelin. Christian Sanderfer recorded a silver medal in the long jump, and James Maier placed second in the 3000. Derrius Vick brought home bronze in the 800, James Maier placed third in the 1500 and Josh Droub finished third in the high jump. The Jets brought home an addition 3 ribbons.
