Madison, WI. - The Lincoln Jets performed very well at the 2005 Region VIII championships in Madison, Wisconsin. Christian Sanderfer lead the way with a club record 2215 points to claim the regional title in the midget boys pentathlon and backed that up with a leap of 15'11 3/4 " long jump to claim that title also. Kyle Danielson on his last throw heaved the bantam boys mini-javelin 83'2" to claim the championship. Sanderfer came back in the 80 meter hurdles to finish with the silver medal . Jeff Morrison set a P/R on his way to a 7'5 1/2" pole vault to give him the silver medal. Morrison also was on the second place youth boys 4x800 relay team along with Creighton Morris, Jacob Danielson and Derrius Vick. Will Scheideler battled for two days in the intermediate boys decathlon. Over the course of two days Will broke three club records and beat his personal best in six events to bring home the bronze medal . Jay Kilpatrick was the other Jet bronze medalist with a 7'1" leap in the youth pole vault.
