Three Jets Survive Marathon

Omaha, Nebraska - Three Lincoln Jets participated at the 2005 Midwest Strider Invitational on Saturday. Kenzo Cotton matched against Velocity Club finished 3rd in the 100 in a club improving personal best of 30.2. Kenzo also finished second in the 100 Meter dash. Josh Droud brought home the silver medal in the 80 Meter Hurdles and improved is P/R in the Javelin. Zackary Edwards placed 2nd in the Midget Boys discus and improved his personal best in the discus and the javelin. Three athletes brought home four medals in seven events, had four personal bests and improved two club top five marks and times. They also endured a very long track meet.
