Thirteen Jets Compete at Jaguars Meet

Omaha, Nebraska - Thirteen Jets battled the rain delay and wind at the Jaguars Invitational at Omaha North High School. Fourteen medals were won by Lincoln Jets including seven gold medals, four silver and 3 bronze. Seven club records were broken despite the heat and wind. Tyson Youngquist broke the youth boys high jump record with a leap of 5'3". John Claessens IV bettered Derrius Vick's record with a 400 meter time of 1:00.8. Kenzo Cotton lowered the bantam boys 200 Meter time by over 2 seconds with a time of 27.9. Maddie Simon broke the bantam girls 100 Meter record with a time of 14.8. Aaron Shuster established a new Young Men's 200 Meter record with a time of 24.6 and Carter Weitz established an 800 Meter record in a time of 2:05.0. Anne Flesher bettered her own 3000 Meter record in a time of 14:14.0. Including the club records the Jets placed nineteen performances on the Top 5 all-time list. Nineteen new P/R's were broken or established.
