Jets Fly at Throws Meet

Omaha, Nebraska - Eleven Jet Athletes competed at Burke Stadium for the annual Throws Festival.. The Jets brought home seven medals in fouteen events and place in the top seven in all fourteen events. Two gold medal were won by Kyle Danielson and Janessa Kobza brought home the youth girls discus gold. Three silver medals and one bronze were also brought home by Kobza, Madison MacLean and Sam Morris. Six club records were broken in the meet. Janessa Kobza broke her own discus record, while Creighton Morris broke two club records in the shot put and discus for youth boys. Madison MacLean set Jet club records in the discus and shot put for Intermediate girls. Kyle Danielson chattered his own Javelin record while besting the meet record in the bantam boys Javelin. Four other Top 5 club marks were established by Oliva Morris, youth girls shot put; Anne Flesher, youth girls javelin; Sam Morris, bantam boys shot put; Danielson, bantam boys shot put.
