Fifteen Jets Compete at Jaguars Meet

Omaha, Nebraska - Fifteen Jets competed at the Jaguars Invitational at Omaha North High School. The Jets broke 7 club records and recorded eleven gold memedals. Total medal count for the Jets was 19 medals and 20 Top 5 Club listings. Gold medalists included Max Church, midget high jump, Kyle Danielson in the midget boys javelin., Janessa Kobza in the intermediate shot put and discus, James Maier in the youth boys 3000, Tyson Osborn in the youth boys 1500, Ryan Roettger in the young men's 400, Brandon Schlautman in the young men's 800 and 1500, Zach Simon in the young men's 200. Ann Flesh er made it four meets in a row as the youth girls javelin champion. Club record breakers included a tied record leap by Church and a tied throw by Flesher. Britt Fox broke her own 100 meter day record and newcomer Kate Janike broke the youth girls 400 dash record and the 100 Meter Hurdle record. Ryan Roettger established a new mark in the young mens 400. Tyson Osborn has been chasing the 1500 for six years as a Jet and he nailed the youth boys 1500 meter run record while dipping below the 5:00 mark. Get outing by the Jets.
