JETS Land 41 Medals
Break 7 club records
Lincoln, Nebraska - Last weekend the Jets participated in the annual LYTC Invitational meet at Nebraska Wesleyan. Thirty Six Jets participated in the event and they came home with 41 total medals. Gold medalist included Morgan Bath in the midget discus and shotput, Anne Flesher in the youth javelin, Max Church in the midget high jump, Kyle Danielson in the midget javelin, Josh Droud in the youth 200 meter hurdles, Sam Morris in the bantam javelin and high jump, Tyson Osborne in the youth 1500, Reid Shubert in the midget 1500, Jonathan Rife in the intermediate 1500 and 3000, David Peaslee in the intermediate high jump and Eric Rice in the intermediate 110 meter hurdles. Seven club records were broken. Maddie Simon broke the club record in the bantam 400, Jenna Humphrey, Grace Iaquinta, Sarah Kottwitz and Nicole Shively broke the 4x400 meter relay for youth, Max Church tied his club record in the midget high jump, Britt Fox broke the 100 and 200 meter dash club records in the youth girls division, Anne Flesher broke her own club record in the youth girls javelin and Jonathan Rife broke the club record in the intermediate 3000. That was a really great effort with 50 new personal bests.
