Omaha, Nebraska - Omaha - Twenty-six Jets attack the track at Omaha North. Well over 600 athletes compete in the annual Jaguars Boys and Girls Club Invitational. Jeff Morrison lead the way for the Jets with three gold medals and a silver in the young men's high jump, long jump, triple jump and javelin. Janessa Kobza continues to pull gold medals in the intermediate girls shot put and discus. Kate Janike was a double gold medal winner in the 100 and 400 Meter Hurdles. Olivia Morris was a gold medal winner in the youth girls triple jump. Madeleine Simon was the gold medal winner in the midget girls long jump. Facing very stiff competition in the meet from Iowa and Minnesota Marrissa Haynes shattered the club records in the 100, 200 and finished third all-time in the long jump. Grace Iaquinta broke both club records in the youth girls 3000 and 800 meter runs while finishing with the silver and bronze. Brittny Fox also faced very stiff competition on her way to extablishing club records in the youth girls 100 and 200. Six of the Nine club records were broken by youth girls. Madison Maclean, Jeff Morrison and Kate Janike established new club records. Morgan Bath, Reid Shubert and Madsion MacLean brought home a pair of silver medals. Kenton Kobza, Michaela Frenzel, Grace Iaquinta, Jeff Morrison and Tyson Osborn also silver medaled. Chyna Grant, Madeleine Simon, Caroline Janike, Kate Janike, Jeff Morrison recorded 2nd best club times, throws or jumps in their events. Madison Krueger, Grace Iaquinta, Marrissa Haynes and Kenton Kobza established new P/R's in all their events.
