Weather Grounds Jets at LYTC
Young Jets Introduced to Major Competition
Lincoln - For the first time in 15-20 years rain termimated the LYTC meet at 11:00. Prior to termination the Jets managed 2 gold medals and 1 club record. Tyson Osborn came home with a gold in the intermediate boys 3000. Kate Janike won the gold medal in the intermediate girls 100 meter hurdles. Anne Flesher won silver in the youth girls javelin while Max Church won silver in the youth boys high jump. Morgan Bath was silver medalist in the midget shot put and Sam Morris won silver in the midget boys high jump. Reid Shubert was the 5th silver medalist in the midget boys 3000. Morgan Bath was the only Jet to set a new club record with her shot put throw.
