| Sacramento, CA. - Pierce Tallichet finished 9th in the intermediate 1500 final with a time of 4:10.86. He had qualifed for the 1500 Meter final on Friday with a club record time of 4:09.36. Pierce took some 16 seconds off his personal best and 6 seconds off Chris Hatch's 1500 Meter time. Pierce ran the day before a finished 11th in the intermeidate 3000 meter run in a time of 9:18.96, which was a club record by more than 6 seconds. Pierce goes into Sunday's final with the 6th best time.
Kathleen Medill finished 7th and received a medal in the midget girls high jump with a leap of 4'9". Kathleen also ran the 80 meter hurdles on Saturday but, failed to qualify for the finals. Her time of 14.39 was .08 hundredth off her club record and personal best.
Sister Josie Medill finished 15th in the girls bantam high jump with a leap of 3'7.25". Reid Shubert ran in the youth boys 3000 meter run and topped off a great season with a time 10 09.36. He was only 3 seconds off his club record and personal best. Grace Barry was the fifth Jet to make it to Sacramento and she finished 23rd in the midget girls javelin with a throw of 79.0". Great season for all our national Jet qualifiers.
